Introduction : Dany Douence, winemaker from mother to daughter leads the vineyard with passion and fervour. Today, with her stepdaughter, Emilie Douence, they preserve all the authenticity of the vineyard and maintain the traditions. The estate of Château Peneau, 30 hectares, is located in Haux and surrounds the castle of Haute-Sage, classified Historical Monument. Since the 17th century, it has always been led by women; Dany and Emilie perpetuate the ritual. From the vineyard to the winemaking, until the bottling, all their efforts are guided by a single watchword: quality, authenticity and natural balance of life cycle.
