It was in 1941 that Mr. Geay took over the Domaine de la Soléiade, abandoned after the phylloxera crisis in 1850 which decimated the 40 hectares of the vineyard. With strength and passion, he restored the 18th century building as well as the land. Today the old Grenache vines take root on clay-limestone soil covered with rolled pebbles.

Ageing : Grapes from this fine terroir are entirely hand picked and then sorted to retain only the healthiest, ripest ones. Our cellar master makes sure to bring out the best of these grapes, fermenting them in stainless steel vats at carefully controlled temperatures to lock in the fresh, fruity aromas.
Tasting notes: This estate has a characteristic aroma of flowers, red fruit and spicy overtones. There are lovely cherry flavours on the palate, with a hint of liquorice.
