Introduction : In 2000, Arnaud, their son, educated as an Engineer and following a 10-year career in the construction industry, was captured by tradition: with his wife Hélène, they bought the Château de Melin, located on the town of Auxey-Duresses, and decide to settle the family estate vineyards. The Château de Melin currently operates 22 hectares of vineyards and produces 22 appellations: 20 in the Côtes de Beaune and 2 in the Côtes de Nuits areas.The vinification process still takes place in our winery in Sampigny-les-Maranges. However, the aging and bottling of the wines is accomplished in their cellars at the Château.

Tasting notes: This wine is dry ; its fresh and frank aromas remind grapefruit. It leaves a nice aromatic persistency in mouth.

Food pairing : For outstanding as a pré-dinner drink, mixed with blackcurrant liquor, it becomes the famous KIR.
It agrees perfectly with grilled fishes. Its liveliness resists well to the iodine of oysters as to the steams of goat’s cheese.
