Introduction :
Settled there since 1991, Marc and Claire Ponsar had the vines and the cellars renovated to help this reputed cru bourgeois retrieve the position it deserves.
Wine : Generally composed of a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon. The search for a perfectly ripe and healthy grapes allows longer maceration, complex tannins, good structure, elegance, power, aromatic finesse. The wine keeps fifteen years in the cellar.
Grape Variety : Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet franc
Soil : Graves, clay and limestone. A near Pauillac and Saint Julien, in the municipality of Saint Laurent, rump Garonne gravel for perfect drainage.
Vinification : Alcoholic fermentation temperature limited to 32 ° C temperature control fermentation pumping-optimized, maceration of three weeks while maintaining the wine at 25 ° C; malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes : Deep garnet colour. Rather pleasant nose, ripe fruity with a feeling of freshness. In the mouth a very ripe style, a quite light material. A harmonious wine with already blooming fruit. To be enjoyed without delay
