Introduction : In 2000, Arnaud, their son, educated as an Engineer and following a 10-year career in the construction industry, was captured by tradition: with his wife Hélène, they bought the Château de Melin, located on the town of Auxey-Duresses, and decide to settle the family estate vineyards. The Château de Melin currently operates 22 hectares of vineyards and produces 22 appellations: 20 in the Côtes de Beaune and 2 in the Côtes de Nuits areas. The vinification process still takes place in our winery in Sampigny-les-Maranges. However, the aging and bottling of the wines is accomplished in their cellars at the Château.

Tasting notes: It is a powerful, colourful and fruity wine. Its tannins are strengthened by a nice mellowness in order to give a nice fleshy, full and firm wine. The mouth, fresh, and tinged with liquorice, lays down a meaty foundation for peppery flavours.

Food pairing : Warm and fluid, it distinguishes itself by a fine and supple tannic weft. it is then imperative with a big nature on the poultry and the red meats that it does not assault its tannins, notably in their exotic and spied on variants, to whom its vinosité beautiful peppered give the replica brilliantly.
